Every morning I wake up and say thank you God for Doug.
It’s not just the surgeons, we are on a journey with God!
God will not let me down. She never has and she never will!
That’s why I wake up every morning and say thank you God for everything.
It might be just making it through the night or just some little things.
Thank you God that I can eat ice chips, so it isn’t so boring.
Thank you God for clean hair.
Thank you God for surgeons who explain things to us.
Thank you God for neighbors and friends who are taking care of Doug.

Joyce and Doug - God is holding you both tightly in her arms. I pray for continued strength, guidance for your surgeons, peace and comfort for you to chase away any worries you have. One piece of news - Angie Hanson Huff is expecting a baby soon. She and Chris are looking so happy in their facebook pictures. I wrote and told them to not worry about FMF this time around, since I expected them to be sleep deprived for several months after their babe is born. Thinking of you especially today. Mary
